We would like to welcome Tour operators and Incoming operators on our Visit Arctic Europe II Pre- and Post tours to explore the Arctic summer.
You may register for both Pre- and Post-tour of your choice.

Costs
All costs of land arrangements will be covered by the VAE II -project. This includes accommodation, lunches, dinners and all activities in the program.
Each participant is responsible for their own travel costs and travel arrangements to the starting point and/or from the end point of the trip.
(Pre tours D and E and G: flights to Alta are also covered by VAE II.)
Make sure that you have sufficient travel insurance that also covers covid-related costs.
Number of participants:
Maximum number of participants for each tour is 10. Except for post tour I, maximum number of participants is 20.
Minimum number of participants for each tour is 5.
If the trip you want to register for is already fully booked, you can sign up on the waiting list. Please notice that we accept only one person from the same company on the same trip.
Cancellation
If you of some reason need to cancel your participation, please inform us soonest possible to give someone else a chance to join.
If you have any covid-symptoms, please cancel your participation.
Cancellation fee of 450 EUR will occur if you cancel you participation after 16.5.2022.

Description: This tour combines Norway and Finland. We start I Kirkenes by the arctic sea and the trip the goes to Finland where we get to visit Nuorgam, Utsjoki and Inari and explore some options for summer. Then the tour returns to Norway and Karasjok and Kautokeino the heart of Sami culture in Norway. We will end the tour in Alta for the workshop

On this trip we travel from the southern parts of Finnish Lapland all the way north to Alta in Northern Norway. We start our trip under the midnight sun in the hometown of Santa Claus, Rovaniemi. From there we head to Posio, that combines the wilderness and ceramics in a unique way. Next stop is Salla, in the middle of nowhere, that is the home of the newest national park in Finland. From Salla the journey takes us to Pyhä-Luosto, famous for the amethyst mine. Continuing north we visit Levi with an abundance of activities and services all year round. On the final day of our journey, we visit the village of Hetta before crossing the border to Norway and heading to Alta. Along the way we will visit several companies participating in Visit Arctic Europe 2.

We start the journey in the northern most destination in Swedish Lapland, Kiruna. Here we visit the worlds first Icehotel and Camp Ripan - very upfront when it comes to sustainable food and award winning SPA. We cross the border to Northern Norway by train and arrive in Narvik.
In Norway we will explore Narvik, Senja and Tromsø. With historical implements in the program together with big mountains and great sceneries all over, we will end our pretour mid day in Alta. Along the way we will visit several companies participating in Visit Arctic Europe 2.

The tour will take you along the Silver Road in the western part of Swedish Lapland, ending up in the very North of Norway, in Alta. On the way there, we will make some tremendous stops to enjoy the midnight sun, valleys, museums and to learn a lot of new things about the Arctic area. The trip will take you through the destinations of Arvidsjaur, Arjeplog, Mo I Rana, Fauske and Bodø, before taking the domestic flight to Alta. Art and design is a big part of our Arctic region and is a part of what you will explore the upcoming days. A long, but interesting journey, with food, architecture and stories is about to begin. We start by arriving in Luleå, the largest city in Swedish Lapland, to get a city tour and a good night sleep. We will continue to Harads for world sensation as the Original Treehotel.
Our next stop is Kiruna, here we will discover opportunities for activities under the midnight sun before we the day after, head towards to Kangos and Tärendö. We cross the border to the Finnish side to explore even more options for future business. Along the way we will visit several companies participating in Visit Arctic Europe 2.

Description:
This tour gives you a chance to explore the coast of Norway. We start in Leknes in Lofoten and the Lofotr Viking museum. Andenes in Vesterålen is next stop and we get to go on whale safari. Harstad next and here we get an insight in the history of the area. We take the fast boat to Tromsø for a city walk before Widerøe flies us to Alta for the VAE II Sales workshop.

After the workshop we start our scenic drive to Lyngenfjord with it’s wide variety of fjords, mountains, river valleys and glaciers. On the second day we drive up to Finland and reach the village of Kilpisjärvi, that is right on the border between all three Arctic Europe countries Finland, Sweden and Norway. Our third day will take us to Hetta, Muonio and Ylläs that are all along the Pallas-Yllästunturi National park where the cleanest air in the world is measured. On the fourth day we will experience summer activities in Ylläs and along Tornio-Muonio river in Lappea. The final day of the trip is dedicated to travelling home from Kittilä. Along the way we will visit several companies participating in Visit Arctic Europe 2.

Description: This tour combines the world’s northernmost city with Europe’s northernmost place. We start in Alta after the workshop and drive the picturesque mountain plateau route to Hammerfest. We shall go on a boat trip and get to know some of the activities in the area. From the city we will go to Honningsvåg and of course visit North Cape. Might be that we on the trip both will get to see the King Crabs and Reindeer. The tour will end in Alta.
